Our commitment
Whitney Solutions Group is committed to making whitneysolutionsgroup.com (the "Site") usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. Accessibility is also part of what we deliver for clients, so we hold our own Site to the same standard.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Based on our own review, we believe the Site substantially meets that standard. This statement reflects a self-assessment, not a third-party audit.
What we have done
Accessibility is built into the Site from the start rather than added afterward. That includes:
- Semantic HTML with one main heading per page, a logical heading order, and landmark regions
- A "Skip to content" link and full keyboard access, including the mobile menu (Escape closes it) and the FAQ
- Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields
- Text and interface colors that meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- Form fields with visible labels, clear required-field markers, and error messages announced to assistive technology
- Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting, which turns off animations
- Layouts that reflow to small screens and remain usable when text is enlarged
We check the Site with automated tools such as Google Lighthouse, which currently scores the Site 100 for accessibility, and with manual keyboard testing. Automated tools catch only part of the picture, so we treat them as a starting point.
Known limitations
Some content may not fully meet our target:
- Third-party websites. Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, WebsitesForSeniorLiving.com, and its demo sites lead to content we don't control on this Site.
- Screenshots of demo sites. Images in the "Three communities" section show other websites; their alternative text describes the design rather than every word on the page.
- Embedded contact form. When our form is embedded on another website, the surrounding page is outside our control.
If something on the Site doesn't work for you, we want to know so we can fix it.
Compatibility
The Site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) on desktop and mobile, and with the screen readers and accessibility features built into those platforms. It is not designed for discontinued browsers such as Internet Explorer.
Feedback and assistance
If you run into a barrier, or need information from the Site in another format, tell us through the contact form on our homepage. Please include the page address and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within five business days and to provide the information you need in a way that works for you.
Updates to this statement
We review accessibility whenever the Site changes significantly and update this statement accordingly. This statement was last reviewed on October 10, 2026.
